Weekend Roundup

At Uttoxeter Sky Khan ran well to be fifth on going that was on the soft side or him. He will come on for this run and Aintree is now in his sights. Newtown Lad was running a fine race, jumping with boldness but following a stumble he made a rare error at the next fence and had a nasty looking fall. He was swiftly caught and looked after by Mark and Jaimie and is luckily sound this morning.

Today we had a visit from 'The Bear' ; Iain Milne played prop for Scotland and was part of the winning Grand Slam side in 1984. He was also a Lion in the 1983 New Zealand tour and played for Heriots and the Barbarians. Along with Debs and Colin, he came to watch One For Arthur work four times up the gallops. It is just three weeks to the Grand National and we are happy with Arthur at this stage. Iain, Arthur, Scu and I are pictured.

The shares in Well Above Par have now been sold. We still have one share remaining in Catchthemonlight who is due to run at Musselburgh this week following the going change to heavy at Newcastle.
