We have a couple of horses who have worked hard this winter and they are showing the effects in their races; Vertigo (pictured), Hey Listen and Bescot Springs have all won for us this season, Bescot three times, Vertigo twice and Hey Listen once, and they all ran flat this afternoon. A big grass field is their next destination and they deserve a good break.

On the other hand Ballycool, Voyage A New York and Dancing Amy are having their first outings and ran with a level of credit. Ballycool was fourth, jumping well except for the water jump which seems to scare him whether it is at Cartmel or Hexham, and he should have a good summer based on this comeback. Voyage A New York needs soft ground, while Dancing Amy traveled well until tiring at the top of the home straight; she has ability and should be alright in mares races.

Finally, congratulations and thank you to the team at Hexham who won three best turned outs and coped with a busy full on day. Well done Jaimie, Mark, and Beth.
