Aintree, Home, And Market Rasen

A solid run from Catchthemoonlight at Aintree last night, to be fifth in their mares handicap hurdle. Catch took a little bit of time to warm up to her jumping which is unusual but once in gear she ran a good race, just getting hampered in the home straight, but staying on to the line. The longer trip is fine for her and she should continue to pay her way back down in grade.

This morning we had a session on the gallops with Colin and Nicola Drysdale who came to watch their Mighty Thunder work before his run at Perth in a fortnight. He looks fabulous and has continued to improve through the past year.

Also in were some of the boys from Foresight Racing who have bought Boys On Tour. Boys has settled in to the routine and he looks a decent type for both hurdles and fences.

This afternoon Sky Khan left for Market Rasen with Mark and Gemma; he runs there tomorrow over two and a half miles. His second placed form at Perth last time has been boosted with the winner winning again last night, and he seems to love the Lincolnshire track, so we feel that he has every chance tomorrow.
