Two meetings tomorrow with the yard having runners locally at Perth and further away at Stratford.
Mark and Gemma left for Stratford this morning with the juvenile Bab El Mandeb and the handicap chaser Ballycool.
Bab El Mandeb was bought at Goffs UK spring sale having been in training for the flat but unraced. He has fitted in well to our way of life and loves his jumping. It will be a learning curve for him tomorrow but he has the ability and we are looking for a good run.
Ballycool has been slipping down the handicap and should love the two and a half mile trip on the flat track tomorrow. He has had breathing issues in the past, and I think that the short run in will help him. Derek travels south for both rides.
Meanwhile, at Perth we run two, the hurdlers Devito'sgoldengirl and Morning Time.
We have added a hood to Devito's after she was free on her debut last time. She has plenty of experience jumping and if the hood works then she could have a good each way chance at generous odds.
Morning Time has come back to form and won at his beloved Hexham last month. He seems in great form at home and if it is a fast run race then he could also be a good each way bet. He is pictured getting a pat from Cameron yesterday after leading the schooling.
