It is great to see the end of the snow and despite a bit of frost we have been able to get back on the gallops again. With the hold up in work we will have fewer runners over this weekend but they should be back at the normal levels from next week. Pictured is Miss Joeking on turn out last weekend.
We have four heading to Ayr tomorrow, a mix of two young ones and two handicappers.
Chasseur De Tete found things happening a bit quickly for him at Carlisle in a handicap last time and he is back in calmer waters tomorrow at a track that he has run well at.
Saint Freule is settling down at home but his attacking and run away attitude is tricky to contain in a race. He retains his hood and we will see if the work put in at home will show on the track tomorrow.
On to the handicappers and Mumgos Debut is on track to return to form after a few out of character runs. He should be fine on the going and he has looked in great fettle at home despite the weather, so we are hopeful of a better run than his odds suggest.
Moorstown has also been out of form and the team here have worked hard on him, both physically with lots of attention from Stefi Duff and mentally on the gallops. These are his conditions so we should see an improvement.
