Hexham has passed its initial inspection for waterlogging, although they are going to monitor the ground in case there is more rain. The heavy ground should suit our runners tomorrow.
Behindthelines, pictured, has been running some super races in defeat and in doing so has raised funds for the Doddie Weir 'My name'5 Doddie' MND fund and he aims to raise more tomorrow. Stepping up to three miles should suit him and while he needs to find a few pounds with Olly Murphy's horse he has been training well at home.
Chasseur De Tete has run really well under similar conditions and we use Thomas to take off a valuable 10lbs, on a day when carrying less weight will be crucial. A repeat of his Ayr run would make him very competitive.
OrionInverness chose the two and a half mile chase in preference to three miles, thus running at the distance that he has won at. He was a little hesitant at his fences last time but with the confidence of that run under his belt, he should be sharper tomorrow.
Moorstown has a tongue strap back on having cut out on the home straight at Bangor last time. He is a strong horse and if the tongue strap helps him then he could run better than his odds.
