A bumper card for Perth tomorrow with eight races after one race was divided and great field sizes proving the attraction of safe ground and race conditions appropriate to the horse population.
We start with two in the two mile novice hurdle, Scales Of Justice and Vinos Choice. Scales Of Justice has the conformation to make a classy chaser and with his breeding he should stay further in time; tomorrow is a good starting point. Vinos has his first start since a soft palate tie forward operation and this run should set him up for the rest of the summer. Justice is pictured jumping the tyres with Blair last week.
Cherif d’Isle has his first chase start in a small field and again this will act as a springboard for the rest of the summer.
Next The Banastoir tries a longer trip in the first division of the two and a half mile hurdle, he ran well before not quickening over two miles last time.
Shanroe Street runs in the three mile chase trying to make amends for his last fence fall last time.
Kelpies Myth has had a good first hurdle season and he faces his first open handicap: he won twice last season and we think that he can continue to progress.
Make It Happen also steps up but it should be fine for him and he comes here in good form.
Boys On Tour ran some super races at Musselburgh without winning and he should love the good ground and right handed track, he deserves to win a race.
Finally, Elmomo is another to try a longer trip and he ran a super race on his return to the track last time.
