Weekly Round Up

We just had the one runner this week when Boys On Tour went to Cartmel on Friday. Prominent until making a mistake at the last he was eased when beaten and may be suited by a more conventional track.

At home most of the winter horses are back in; trotting and water treadmill work is the order of the day and the good weather makes the work all the more pleasant.

Oli is leaving us and heading to Australia to take up a position with Godolphin; a part of the team for eighteen months Oli's work description here has been very varied from owner liason, syndicate set up, squad management and events organiser and he was a big part of our Grand National preparations. We wish him well in his next adventures.

Lucinda and Scu are in Deauville at the Arqana sales where they are looking to buy two year old stores. Capitalising on the French breeding regime the pedigrees are strong and the quality looks high.
