Boys On Tour Wins Again At Perth

Perth really suits Boys On Tour, and he won again today for Foresight Racing under a confident front running ride by Stephen. Boys On Tour is just six years old but he is a consistent bold jumping type and he should win again under these conditions. In the same race Vinos Choice did himself no favours by pulling ferociously throughout,  and although his jumping was sound he could not sustain his effort. A shorter distance and maybe a hood will be tried next time.

Island Heights ran a super race after a lay off to be second in the three mile hurdle and should build on this run in the coming months. Make It Happen hurdled really well and just was outpaced at the last to finish an honourable third. Hey Listen also hurdled well and stayed on strongly having dropped the bridle down the back straight. He should have plenty of confidence after this run.

Tomorrow we return with four runners, three over hurdles and a bumper horse.

Simone and Urban Kode take each other on in the two and a half mile hurdle, both returning from short breaks. Simone has some good form in mares races while Urban Kode has slipped to a nice mark following a couple of placed efforts.

Maraweh is back at his favourite track and he has a visor back on. He should appreciate being back in a lower grade and the going should be more to his liking than the firmer ground earlier in the summer.

Finally, we have Pinspot making his debut in the bumper. Out of a bumper and two mile hurdle winner Pinspot has been very straightforward in his work and should gain valuable racecourse experience tomorrow.
