We had a super turnout for today's BHS organised Open Day with over two hundred people attending. The final total raised is yet to be confirmed but with entry and refreshment donations we should have raised a good amount for the BHS and IJF.
While members of the Tay Valley Chasers and The British Racing Club headed up the gallops Ciorstaidh and I showed groups around the yard and explained some of the different methods that we use when training national hunt racehorses.
The parade included all stages of horses and I was very proud of the horses' condition and turnout by our team behind the scenes.
Both racing clubs had representatives and it was super to see plenty of interest in them. The clubs are well run and work hard to make their members feel included with regular contact. More details from Tay Valley Chasers firstname.lastname@example.org and The British Racing Club email@example.com
Tomorrow it is the Owners Lunch and then it will be time for racing!
