Busy Saturday

Another busy Saturday, while we are looking forward to there being more racing for us on Saturdays we are currently spending them schooling, working and fine tuning the horses for the rest of the season.

This morning we schooled fourteen horses over both hurdles and fences. Michael and Lady Jane Kaplan were in to watch Revocation and Pinspot who are entered to run at Perth next week. Jane is pictured holding Pinspot at one of the swap overs.

At Arlary we worked a batch including some soft ground chasers who are hoping that the wet weather returns, and a couple who are just starting proper fast work; Morito Du Berlais who will run for The British Racing Club and Elmono who was late in having gone to the August sales. He is shaping up well and we have 25% shares in him for sale: More details on the FOR SALE page.

Also having his first canter was One For Arthur; it was all quite steady and short but Arthur enjoyed it greatly. Roll on more of the same.

With the yard filling up and many of the three year olds back in work we are looking for one more experienced rider to join our team. Plenty of riding is guaranteed and there is support and coaching for those wishing to progress; please contact the OFFICE for more details.

We also have a super horse available for rehoming. Prosecco has been a star for the Tay Valley Chasers and has been out on loan to some super people. He is sixteen now and looking for a loving hacking home where he will be cherished and enjoyed. Again, more details from the OFFICE

We have a busy week coming up next week with Perth races and plenty of visitors, Tomorrow we have twenty seven to ride out, mostly entries at Perth and a few young ones; usually Sundays are quiet days but the time of the year means that there are plenty needing extra exercise.
