Work Mornings And Pre Musselburgh

We had an important work morning yesterday with some of the horses with valuable targets having a strong gallop. These included Big River, One For Arthur, Voix D'Eau and Forest Des Aigles. All worked really well and their riders were pleased with their progress. Pictured are Voix D'Eau and Forest Des Aigles leading Urban Kode and Tantamount. On the home page is a video of Well Above Par and Big River last time up.

Today was spent cantering the horses that are due to run this week, schooling a couple in the school and giving the majority of the horses some extra time in the fields.

We have three going to Musselburgh tomorrow on good ground.

Chouquette is learning how to settle in her races and we think that the sharper track should help tomorrow.

Elmono has his first chase start for his new owners; an athletic chap he has plenty of ability and we think that he could be a better chaser than hurdler.

Finally, a new inmate, Max Liebermann has his first start for us. An intelligent young horse he has only been here for a few days and has been enjoying his time around the farm at Kilduff. He has been tricky to start in the past and we will know more about him after tomorrow's race.
