Royal Reserve Wins For Doddie

Congratulations to all of the London Scots For Doddie, the owners of Royal Reserve who won on stable debut this afternoon at Newcastle. Held up over two miles Royal sprinted home after the last, delighting his owners and earning more money for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation. Just a six year old but with lots of racing experience, Royal should be able to go on from here.

Our other runner, Pinspot, had his first run at two miles six and ran a blinder to be third. His jumping was more assured and he is another who should be progressive this spring.

Tomorrow sees a day of point to pointing as Scu, Paul and I head to Ireland while at Alnwick we have four runners from the point to point yard; Where’s Phoenix and Settledoutofcourt ridden by Ailsa and Maraweh and Maybemaybenot ridden by Patrick. Both Phoenix and Maraweh have been trained by Cameron who hopes to be in attendance.
