New Faces And Pre Saturday Runners

We had a successful day at Goffs sales, purchasing a smart type in the five year old Lucky Flight, pictured. The easy winner of his four year old point to point in Ireland last month, this precocious type earned a high rating of 92++ having shown bold jumping and a high cruising speed. He is by the French sire Linda's Lad and has a strong winning pedigree. He is for sale in shares; please see his pedigree and race video HERE and contact the office for more details.

When at Doncaster we also picked up the athletic Order Of Thistle a four year old by High Chapperal who has been in pre-training with AP McCoy and who will run for Mrs Fitri Hay in bumpers and over hurdles.

We run two rather nice horses tomorrow, at Cheltenham and Doncaster.

Forest des Aigles has shown class for us and was a big improver last season. Having won first time out this season he ran a super race in the Topham just finding the distance on the long side. He runs over two and a half miles tomorrow at Cheltenham on their Festival Trial day and if he can improve again then he will have a squeak.

At Doncaster we give Methodtothemadness her first run in a bumper; a five year old with plenty of experience she was unlucky to fall three times in Irish point to points, but each time she showed enough to make her an exciting acquisition for the yard. Straightforward in every way she is stepped into good company first time out, and we will know more about her after this run.
