Good Run From Order Of Thistle

It was a good run from the four year old Order Of Thistle at Kelso this afternoon to come fourth beaten just over two lengths in a tight bumper. Settling after half a mile he relaxed at the back of the field before getting a good run up the inner in the last furlong, just failing to reach the leader. He has a great attitude and looks the type to be a decent stayer in the future. He is pictured in the winners enclosure with Thomas and Jaimie.

Earlier it was business as usual with lots of cantering on the grass and some schooling at Kilduff. Jumping up the logs and tyres were the four year olds, Blooriedotcom, Bollingerandkrug, Tarset Hinny, Otello Moor and Mr Toastie, with Arizona Bound leading them. Over the hurdles and fences were Devitosgoldengirl, Thepensionfund, Max Liebermann, Rivabodiva, Deepsand, Touchedbyanangel, and Aurora Thunder.

Blooriedotcom has improved physically for his break and he is a fast learner. A four year old who loves his work he is ready to start faster gallops at Arlary and should be ready to run in late March. He is for sale and has plenty of scope to run over hurdles and later over fences. A flat horse with a good level of form, including a win at Haydock over ten furlongs he should appreciate cut in the ground. He is for sale and will make a cracking early summer hurdler.

The time that we have had without racing is behind us now and Paul has been busy making race plans for each horse which I will email over the next few days to their owners. There are to be a couple of replacement meetings next week and we will have fresh horses ready for them.
