Pre Scottish National Meeting

I have always loved the Scottish Grand National and while we have been second and placed in it we have not won yet, tomorrow we have one of our best chances of doing so.

Big River, pictured, had a slow start to the season but his latest run at Cheltenham when staying on to be fourth has reinforced that the longer trip should suit him. He has plenty of class and as long as the ground is safe he should run a big race.

Sky Khan has plenty of experience in good races and he runs over 2m5f in a race that he was second in last year. He has been fresh at home and we are hopeful that he can run well tomorrow.

Today Voix D'Eau was staying on in sixth when hampered by a faller two out, unseating jockey Callum Bewley. He should have a better summer in front of him.

Good luck tomorrow with Big River.Thought he ran a blinder at Cheltenham which has hopefully put him spot on for this longer trip. The main thing is he comes home safe and sound. All the best! Eden.

Hi folks. Scottish grand National day tomorrow and all the best to Big River in what should be a very competitive and exciting race. For me the best run from your stable came a few years ago when Green Flag in the hands of Peter Buchanan came to win the race only to blow up at between the last two fences.
Counting down the days until the Perth Festival.

Having the going not to his liking and being hampered badly at the 7th fence I am sure he would have won. He put in a storming finish to be 5th which truly showed his true class. Well done to all concerned.
