Just The One At Perth Evening And Owner Communication

Just one runner at Perth tomorrow with Gripper looking to make amends for a below par run last time. He has had a great few weeks since that run showing some improved pieces of work, and while this is a novice hurdle rather than a handicap, he should run a better race.

Our form man Paul McIvor was here last week and we have been discussing more ways to increase owner communication. As well as entry, declaration, handicap change and training updates our owners also receive pre and post race analysis by Paul, who learned his trade at Timeform. Our home run syndicates have Facebook pages for owners and the yard to share photos and videos of the horses and we will be adding to this through the season.

Of course, we also have hospitality boxes at Perth, Kelso and the Cheltenham Festival and our yard sponsor Edinburgh Gin are very generous in the supply of their product. There has never been a better time to join the yard as an owner!

Pictured is the winning chaser Well Above Par, owned by the Eagle Partnership. There is a share available in him, and he, like most of his stablemates are aimed at races in September onwards. We had a schooling morning this morning and twenty four horses jumped round the carpet, all getting in to a lovely rhythm and building on the work that Gregor and the team have done with them in the school, being quick on their feet and learning to lengthen and shorten.
