Aurora Thunder A Brave Second At Ayr

Aurora Thunder was a brave second at a very wet Ayr, showing the wonderful battling and determined attitude that we love her for. Leading the field she tried to quicken away from her field but was reeled in by a nice type from Gordon Elliott. She deserves to win again and will likely step up to three miles next time.

Dr Hooves jumped well on his chase debut and just lacked recent match practice. He will put today's experience to good use in the next month or so.

Poor Emissaire did not fare so well, and having lost his rhythm he blundered at the last in the back straight, losing Blair. He is still on the anxious side and we will probably go back over hurdles next time.
