Destiny Is All Third At Uttoxeter

It has been such a long time since we had jump runners that we are having a small celebration of Destiny Is All's third placing in his novice handicap chase at Uttoxeter yesterday. A big horse he has taken time to mature and showed the first signs of promise when third on his chase debut at Musselburgh back in February. Jumping really well in the main today he was just a little novicey at the last but his rallying third place to go down by just over a length has pleased us greatly. He will be a nice chaser for his owner this summer and autumn.

Magnum ran a little free and could not sustain his effort. He is still learning about hurdling and is better than this; it was all a little much for him today. Fences may beckon later this season.

It was a big effort from El, Stephen, and Derek but they all reported that it was just so good to be back racing again. Roll on the rest of the season.
