We have a big day coming up at Perth tomorrow with a bumper seventeen runners from the yard, in a show of support for Perth Racecourse, and to get horses racing and ready for the rest of the season.

We are lucky to have a super team here whose focus is on the horses' welfare and producing horses in the best condition to run. Everyone plays their part and today was no different as we had horses worked and schooled while those on the ground fussed over and prepared the runners for tomorrow.

Out of necessity, we have two or three runners in a couple of races, and starting with the two mile handicap hurdle we have Gemologist and Touchedbyanangel taking each other on. Both are running after a break; Gemologist is only little and has top weight but this should put her spot on for her next outing. Touchedbyanangel was out of form last season but as a result, has dropped in the handicap and while he may come on for the run he could be competitive.

Three in the novice hurdle with the ex point to pointers Offtheshoulder and Accost making their hurdle debuts. Both need to improve on their bumper form but will learn plenty, while Mannochmore is stepping up in distance and is without his usual hood; he should be a chaser in the making and we are looking forward to the season with him.

Another three in the novice handicap staying chase, Dr Hooves is a Musselburgh winner who has had another small wind operation through lockdown. Emirat De Catana is a course winner and had some in and out form over fences last winter. He has benefitted from the break and work on the water treadmill and schooled with confidence last week. A Ladies Milan makes his chase debut; an ex Irish pointer he should step forward over fences this season.

Caboy makes his British debut in the three mile hurdle and we will know more about him after this run. A strong sturdy type he has ability at home and will no doubt be chasing at some point this season.

Celtic Flames is our sole runner in the two and a half mile hurdle; he should be fine at this trip and has run some solid races over hurdles. He has won round Perth and we are looking forward to his run.

Effet Special did not stay the two and a half mile trip last time here and we drop him back to two miles tomorrow. A free running sort he has been much more relaxed at home since that run. In the same race, Last King Of Wales returns after a wind operation and having had a nice break to strengthen he seems to have finally filled his frame.

Boys On Tour ran a cracker here last time and he deserves to win a race like this soon. Carrying a light weight he will give it his best shot despite a being six pounds higher than his last winning mark. Voix D'Eau returns after over a year off and while he will improve for the run, he has some nice targets later this year.

Two chasers represent us in the next race. Katalystic and The Road Home are closely matched at home, and Katalystic will like the return to Perth. The Road Home has been a hard horse to catch right, but he is in good fettle just now and if he takes to Perth he should run well.

Finally, we have the French bred Diamond State in the bumper. He has improved at home and worked well on the grass two weeks ago. However, he has to translate that to the track and step up on his previous run last January.
