Vertigo arrived on the yard in the middle of April having shown form in Irish point to points. He has plenty of stamina and looks a likely bumper type before running in staying hurdles. He has the scope to go chasing and at four years old he has plenty of good days in front of him.

He is by Jeremy, the sire of the Triumph hurdle winner Our Conor, and is a half brother to a Listed flat placed horse. At 16.1hands high he is very athletic and he has a most honest attitude.

In his first point to point run when he was third, Vertigo was caught a little flat footed when the pace increased but he knuckled down and stayed on past horses as his stamina kicked in. Next time out he was in front and upsides the eventual winner Topofthegame when he fell. Topofthegame was sold at the Aintree sale for £120,000.

Vertigo was in training with us for a couple of months and proved to be genuine, showing plenty of stamina and moving well. He won on his bumper debut at Hexham in October 2016 and will now go over hurdles.
