Third and fourth on his first two starts, Snake Roll showed good progression to finish runner-up at Oldcastle in April, beaten only two lengths by the highly-rated De Legislator. Having purchased De Legislator at the Goffs Punchestown Sale and seen the fifth horse come out and frank the form subsequently, this five-year-old son of Jet Away was always going to be at the top of our shortlist for the Goffs UK Doncaster Spring Horses In Training/Point To Point Sale and we were delighted to acquire him.

As a son of Jet Away, Snake Roll shares his sire with recent Grade-1 winning mare Brandy Love and is from the family of the smart chaser Southern Vic, a horse who scored at the highest level in his novice season over fences.

A strong sort with good bone, he is a lovely prospect for staying hurdles this winter and has the scope to make a cracking chaser further down the line. He looks a genuine type and we think he could be very special.
