Flylikeaneagle is being kept busy at present, carrying the flag whilst our core jumps team are going through their pre-season training, and eight days on from being narrowly denied at Ayr, he is out again at Musselburgh tomorrow bidding to make amends in the 1m1f apprentice handicap.
A winner on his debut for the yard over 10f at Ayr at the start of the month, he was only beaten by a thriving rival last week and should run another big race with the return to a slightly longer trip something that is expected to suit.
We are managing the heat at home as the majority of our jumpers continue to work towards returning to action in a few months’ time. We have added real strength in depth to the team this summer and can’t wait to see them back in action in the autumn.
